LEGO DIAGON ALLEY 2020 review (with mystery box 21!) – Harry Potter set 75978
I bought Diagon Alley first thing on September 1st from LEGO!
I’m reviewing the LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley set (75978). So what did I think of this epic Diagon Alley set? Is it up to the incredible standards of the other 2020 Harry Potter sets? Is it worth the hefty price tag? Who’s face have I found in a completely different LEGO theme?
In my review I’ll take you through all of the shops in this LEGO Diagon Alley set, show you the minifigs and show you how you can display it in many different ways because it is a massive set!
Diagon Alley is an iconic location within Harry Potter, from Harry’s first venture into the wizarding world, to him accidentally saying diagonally and ending up in Knockturn Alley! This set includes a number of key shops (Ollivanders Wand Shop, Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes, Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour, Scribbulus Writing Implements, Flourish & Blotts and Quality Quidditch Supplies) along with The Daily Prophet office. The set also includes a mystery box 21 which I will show you with a spoiler alert so that you don’t have to see if you don’t want to!
There are officially 14 minifigures included in this set: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Draco, Ginny, Molly Weasley, Ollivander, Fred and George, Gilderoy Lockhart, Lucius Malfoy, Hagrid, Florean Fortescue, the Daily Prophet photographer. We also get a couple of mannequin minifigs in the Quidditch store so I’d say 16 in total.
