LEGO Mos Eisley Cantina Review! (LEGO Star Wars MBS or UCS set for 2020, set 75290)

I got up super early on 16th September to buy the LEGO Mos Eisley Cantina from my closest Lego store. I was mega excited for this new LEGO Star Wars Master Builder Series (MBS) set as Tatooine is my favourite Star Wars planet.

This set is the big Star Wars Lego set of 2020, this set is so impressive that some consider it equivalent of a UCS set. So having built this mega LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina, what do I think of it?

The Mos Eisley Spaceport on Tatooine is iconic in Star Wars, with is Cantina bar and quirky Cantina band. I am so excited for a LEGO UCS / MBS Star Wars Mos Eisley set as it’s one of my favourite Star Wars scenes.

Mos Eisley Cantina features a detailed bar, sliding entrance door, seat-tipping functions, open-out design and detachable sections. It also includes a new-for-January-2018 Ubrikkian 9000 pod with opening minifigure cockpit and top-mounted stud shooter.

The set features 21 LEGO minifigures, including Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo, C-3PO, R2-D2, Greedo, Dr. Evazan, Kardue’Sai’Malloc, three members of the Cantina band, a Jawa, Sandtroopers, and also comes with three entirely new figures of Ponda Baba, Garindan, and Labria.
