Being a new LEGO fan is hard
Too bad LEGO never remakes old sets… But at least they make up for it with a new Lukes Landspeeder every year
With the release of the new Ninjago City Gardens, it got me thinking about the older Ninjago sets that already retired and how expensive it would be to include those in my LEGO City – this applies to the modular sets as well. I’m fortunate enough that my husband has a ton of older LEGO Star Wars, old LEGO Marvel, and other classic, older LEGO sets, but most new LEGO fans aren’t fortunate to be married to someone who has been collecting LEGO for 20+ years. It would be so nice if LEGO re-released updated versions of “adult” aka modular/ninjago sets because then newer fans could enjoy them without spending THOUSANDS on decade-old sets.
