FINALLY a Phase 2 Commander Cody (purist custom minifigure tutorial)

This is the ~best~ way to make your own Phase 2 Commander Cody minifigure!

I had a blast making this video – please don’t take it too seriously haha! My husband, Ross, is a huge Commander Cody fan (and fan of Clone Wars in general), so I wanted to try my best to make him a LEGO purist custom Phase 2 Commander Cody minifigure. While this is certainly a real purist custom, it is also somewhat of an abomination and looks like a bobble head. But it also looks kind of cute

* A BRIEF HISTORY LESSON ON PHASE 2 COMMANDER CODY*
LEGO has made two versions of Phase 1 Commander Cody – one in 2008 and one again in 2011. They’ve never made a minifigure version of Phase 2 Commander Cody. They have made a Phase 2 Commander Cody buildable figure though, which we happen to have! Apparently in 2020, it was rumored that Phase 2 Commander Cody would come with General Grievous’ Starfighter, but that ended up not being true. Therefore, I made my own Phase 2 Commander Cody minifigure!
