The Ha’tak ships were originally developed by the Goa’uld to perpetuate its Galactic Empire. This ship successfully reigned down terror on less advanced civilizations for tens of thousands of years. With the ability to conduct orbital bombardments, launch fighter crafts, and deploy legions of ground troops, this ship was perfectly designed for planetary domination. At the eventual fall of the Goa’uld Empire, the thousands of Ha’tak ships were salvaged and repurposed by the rising powers to take its place.
