The LEGO Star Wars SLAVE 1 NAME CHANGE Controversy!

Another day, another LEGO Star Wars drama. This one isn’t LEGO’s fault though, according to LEGO Star Wars Designers Disney “no longer wanted to use the name” Slave 1 for Star Wars merch. It is currently unknown if this change will extend to the in-universe naming of the Slave 1 but it seems very likely at this point as cancel culture runs rampant. There’s a lot of false notions and “facts” flying around such as LEGO ALWAYS changes the names of LEGO Star Wars sets but for the Slave 1 things are different.
