The ornithopter was humanity’s adaptation to a future without complex computing. Without the assistance of automated guidance systems, only skilled pilots could navigate these multi-winged flying machines. They were made in a variety of different configurations to fulfill the many roles of the great houses. This is an Atreides ornithopter designed for personnel transport and reconnaissance.
