In this video, we’ll discuss The Great LEGO Spill which occurred on February 13, 1997 when the container ship Tokio Express was hit by a massive rouge wave about 20 miles off the coast of Cornwall England. Nearly 5 million LEGO bricks were lost to the dark ocean abyss (4.8 million to be exact). However, these LEGO bricks began washing up on beaches all over the world. Even today, it’s still possible to find LEGO bricks on the beach from this ocean disaster!

But that’s not all! How about an 8 foot tall LEGO minifigure floating around in the ocean? Yup! Watch this entire video to learn the secrets of this giant minifigure that washed up on beaches across the globe from 2007 to 2014. It’s a fascinating story!
