LEGO Star Wars and the Diorama Dilemma

LEGO Star Wars has released more LEGO dioramas and that has introduced a dilemma. Today we’ll be using the new LEGO Star Wars Endor Speeder Chase Diorama set to illustrate how this new type of set is increasing the price of LEGO Star Wars sets without equally increasing their value. I surmise that a few years ago, LEGO would have released only the speeder bikes and Endor minifigures as a stand-alone set for a reasonable price. Instead, we as LEGO Star Wars fans are forced to pay significantly more for essentially the same product with the addition of a few trees. Join me on this journey of baseless conjecture as I attempt to prove a point I’m not actually that passionate about.
