HEALTH update & January 1st LEGO SHOPPING

It has been quite the December and from slowly losing my ability to work and eventually walk much further than pottering about in my own house (amongst a large variety of other things), to being diagnosed with a brain tumour at the start of December to having my surgery fast-tracked to halfway through December and then starting my recovery after a little over a week in hospital I am glad to have made it to January. Though there are many hurdles still ahead and lots and lots of checks and appointments and all kinds of other administrative unpleasantness, January 1st was the time for pushing my boundaries by challenging myself to a visit to the Lego store.
