The Consular-class cruiser is the very first ship seen in Star Wars: Episode I. During the height of the Republic’s power, Jedi and diplomats traversed the galaxy in speedy Corellian ships. This meaty cruiser dawned a powerful communications array and thick armor. These later became an ideal platform for combat refits during the Clone Wars.
