Friction Fit LEGO Building Techniques – Making a Seven Pane Window

Museum of Nature Part 5: A look at how we designed the 7 pane window on the entrance block. Definitely pushing the limits with this one. 😁

It turns out the width of 6 panel flanges is the same as 1 stud, so using some creative ‘friction fit’ building, we were able to get the 7 window panes in an 8 stud space, with a thin separator between each.

This is for a scale LEGO model of the Canadian Museum of Nature, located in Ottawa, Canada, that we are currently working on.
